A properly aligned FM Tuner!

Ever wonder what it would be like to go that extra mile with a proper alignment? A serious alignment? I'm not talking about leaving possibly defective ceramic filters in place and aligning as best as possible in that situation. I'm talking about having it aligned like it will be your LAST FM tuner. I'm talking about selected, tested, matched filters like Bob and Bill and Ed and Ken and ....? do. This isn't important only to DX'ers but to the rest of us as well. My, hopefully, final KT-7500 will soon be shipped out for such an upgrade. Eric has just loaded my review of a Mitsubishi DA-F20 stock compared to one aligned by our very own Bob. Link below to the review.

Jim: I'm sending my modded Kenwood Kt 7500 to Mike Williams for a fresh alignment. Sound quality is still amazing but if you remember some bozo sprayed contact cleaner into the variable capacitor.  We know the person who did the mods certainly did an excellent job  Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Let me know how you like Mike's work. Maybe have him do our latest passive de-emphasis mod. It's described at the bottom of our KT-7500 mod sheet. Titled ... "Ray's Passive EQ Mod "  Link here... http://www.fmtunerinfo.com/DIY.html#KT-7500
