AKSA 55 signal wiring
« on: 5 May 2003, 12:25 am »
I'm having trouble finding information in the assembly guide on input wiring.  I see the negative speaker terminal connects to star ground.

Should the RCA input ground and PCB signal ground terminate at star ground or do I just connect input ground to PCB signal ground.

Thanks.

Hi Ultrachrome,

The input RCA connects to the two pins near earth on the pcb.  Here it is taken directly from page 22:

Quote
"Connect an RCA socket via flying leads to the input terminals.  Ensure the PCB terminal closest to the board earth point (signal earth) is connected to the outer earth terminal of the RCA.  Do not connect the RCA connector to the chassis or Star Earth."

Trust this helps!

Cheers,

Hugh
