Hello I am looking for an amp for my set up but have verry limited space left in my rack.
I saw Sunfire was comming out with a 8X 100 W flat 8 amp @ 1" tall
are there any other amps like this avalible ?
I also could do something like the nuforce amps but they may be overkill for my system ,I have a Denon 3805 AVR with Paradigm Studio 40's ,CC-450 center & Cinemas in the rear with a PDR 8 sub
I could swing $1500

Have you thought of a panny XR55.  The extra amps would not be wasted since it has an automatic bi-amp feature - 2 amps on the woffer - one on the tweeter.

Thanks

Yipes.  I remember reviews pointing out how slim they were but I forgot to actually check the height.  Thaks for clarifying it.

Thanks

This amp has been received good reviews, although I've not heard it.

Are you looking for a multichannel amp?  Or just 2-channel?

The new Bel Canto S300 is 3" tall (although only 2-channel).

How about the Flying Mole DAD-M100proHT?

You'd need one for each channel, but they are REALLY small  (the size of a small paperback book). At 100 wpc, they have plenty of power - price is about $400 each.

These Marantz MA 500's are small and 5 of them only take up one rack space. They're also inexpensive:

You could always look at buying 5 IRD Audio monoblocks....100 watts each and won't cost you but $1300.00 delivered.

They have a circle here on Audio Circle.
