Cheap Amplification for my Epiphonies?
« on: 21 Dec 2005, 08:50 am »
Hi,

I am currently running a Sherwood RD-6108 receiver with my Epiphonies. I am looking for new amplification for my Epiphony for around $500. I noticed a couple months ago that Klaus had a garage sale and blew out some Khartagos for around this price range. At that time I was going through a photography spending spree and blew just about all my money on lenses and other gadgets for my camera  Being on a high school budget, I don't have much money so I won't be able to go much over my budget ($75-100 over at most)

What are my options for around $500.. (Yes, that does include pre/amp  :o )

Put the $500 toward a class on controlling impulse spending!

There is a used Khartago on Audiocirlce and on Agon that is close to that price.  I can say that Slurve is good guy, I bought my Etesian off of Him.

I know where you could get an Acarus pre and amp for about that price. they are like new in the box.  I am not sure of the model, but it looked like a very good deal.
