decided to give one a try -its also a surge device, has a digital display that shows amp draw and voltage-my display doesnt work 100% but i can see-
that i have from 116-117 volts-

my tempest pre shows 0.0 amp draw
with the fm tuner (jungson)also on 0.0

just the tv (panny30 hd ws tube )1.3-1.8

my cdp(shengya) 0.6

has it done anything for my system?

reds on the tv do look better(no bleed)when watching sports live,
and the fm tuner has a cleaner background

looks wise its not  out of place with my system at all ,very nice and solid
13 outlets, phone, cable, sat, antenna and network hookups

not a review, more like hey look at my new toy

I've had the PF60 for about 3 weeks and echo your findigs exactly. My display seems to be ok. I got it mainly to get more outlets than my Adcom ACE-515 could provide. The PF60 SEEMS to do a better job than the ACE but maybe thats because I want it to. Coolest, and most expensive, nitelite I ever bought!

116-117 volts? There might be something wrong in your house wiring, circuit breakers or the supply from your power company.
I've got my system on now and I get a reading of 123+ volts. The system draw is about 1.3 amps. When I turn on track lights that are on the same circuit the volts go down to about 120 or 121. I have the same Belkin as you.

its on a deicated line-my 4 odyssey amps are also on the same line-if i turn them off it gets over 118-
-i thought equipment was designed to run + or - 10% of 120 volts?

Wouldn't hurt to get an elactrician out to check your home. Not sure but low voltage can lead to overheating of house wiring and possibly a fire. I went through a low voltage problem and had the circuit breaker panel and the main breaker and feed wires replaced. No more funny and annoying problems now. Not with audio gear but switches and lights in the house.

I left the house at 8:30am and returned at 2:00pm. I noticed that the clocks on the stove and microwave were blinking. Must have been a power outage. The Belkin pf40 also shut down so I reset the switches and everything is back to normal. Shows me that the Belkin is doing it's job. I have lost power before but the Radio Shack surge protectors I had never shut down. Belkin pf40 is a very good investment to protect your audio gear. Proved it to me!
