Not sure what I find funnier...the clock itself, or the fact that they have customers for it... :o

They're not being facetious?  If they're really selling that, I have to start marketing something similar.  That's just too stupid to be true.

It's Machina Dynamica. You can safely expect nothing less from them.

Welcome back, Scott!

From the ad, depite not affecting the signal:

"Additional Clock(s) in the listening room - or in other rooms - will further improve the sound."  I just read some $3,200 power cord that made the same claim, your system will just be so much better when all components are plugged into these, but oh yeah, one will produce some benefits too.

One of my biggest eye-rolling claims is "one is great, ten is better".  No wonder non-audioheads think we're nuts.

Even more outlandish than the intelligent chip, this is.  It must be way out there since even the Chipsters haven't weighed in.  The only thing crazier than this that I've heard of was the picture of yourself in the freezer deal.  At least that one was free. . .

This looks like a cheap knock-off of the Fantastic Faith-Based Sonicrock to me...

And then there are the Resonators from Acoustic Systems:

I have not tried them, but I know more than a handful of guys who swear by them.

But it's exactly what I'm looking to get out of my audio system....

Quote
There will be much less distortion, more information and a deep and coherent soundstage. Low frequencies will be articulate and dynamic, high frequencies exceptionally smooth, with great inner detail. In other words, More of Everything!

More of Everything!

I've long suspected that Machina Dynamica is a satirical company.  That is, the owner knows his products don't do anything and makes it very clear on his website (e.g. the Dr. Strangelove stuff in the "white paper" explaining how the Intelligent Chip works) to anyone willing to do a bit of critical thinking.  To the rest, I think he laughs as he takes their money, considering them people with too much money and too little sense.

The new Clever Little Clock just seals the deal for me.  I'm totally convinced the products are satire.

The real question in my mind is whether this is finally a product so outlandish that it won't receive glowing reviews in 6 Moons and Positive Feedback.  The Intelligent Chip and the directional fuses for AC current obviously weren't outlandish enough.
