Wall mounted jacks for speaker cable connection

I am having some major renovation done on the house. While the walls are open I just ran some wire from the (assumed) location of my second system to the outdoor speakers I plan to mount.

I have these exiting the wall from regular electrical outlet boxes right now, leaving about 10' of cable coiled for hookup to the amp. But this looks pretty shitty for sure.

I'm not overly concerned with high fidelity, sine these are outdoor speakers for background and party music. So I would like to mount some kind of connector/jack where the speaker cable enters the wall. Then I can run a separate wire from the amp to this connector.

I think regular speaker binding posts will stick out too far. Any other suggestions for something that can handle both the + and - in a single jack?

Thanks,
Bob

They have wall plates for RCAs, Binding posts, you name it for just such a thing at HD or Lowes.  But since you think BPs will stick out too far, I'd suggest mounting a Neutrik Speakon connector to a plate.  Those are pretty flush and are actually a pretty darn cool connector to boot.

How about a wall plate/connector combo that will accept banana plugs on speaker cables run from your amp?  That's how I hook up the rear speakers in my home theater.
