Watched/listened to this last night while I was painting and it is pretty darn good show.  It is a good mix of old and new (more old) songs.

Really good versions of some favorites (Sunday, Bloody Sunday, Bullet the Blue Sky, Running to Standstill, New Year's Day) as well as some of gthe newer songs (Vertigo, Elevation, Beautiful Day).

After 20+ years these guys still rock and put on a good show.

My two little ones (4 and 1) liked it and said daddy listens to cool music!!

Highly recommended for any U2 fan.

What was this on?  DVD?  CD?

U2 is my favorite group and I was disappointed that they never got close to me on this tour.  A DVD would be just fine, though.

It is available in both formats.

I bought the DVD.

Say, did you watch/listen in the theater on your gallery?  If so, I'd bet that the sound through your Salk speakers was much better than what people actually heard in Chicago.

And when you say painting, did you mean art or work?

Actually I was using my living room system:

I was painiting my kitchen as I get ready to finally sell my house.

Maybe tonight I will listen to it in the theater.

Well, that isn't the fun kind of painting, but I guess it can be a bit more lucrative.

Best of luck selling your house, and thanks for the info on the DVD.  I need to make my Christmas list.

I picked this one up as my gift to myself from Santa and just started watching a bit this morning.  Thanks for pointing it out, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

Of course, I also enjoyed the other ones, so this one just goes on the shelf with Elevation (bought Boston and the one from Ireland), Rattle and Hum, and Live at Redrocks.  Any I'm missing?

Thanks, I didn't know about that one.  It looks like this one has only been released on VHS.  I found used copies on Amazon, here:

I went to both shows in Chicago. The DVD definately sounds better than actually being there (individual results may vary), don't care much for the acoustics of the united center  :x   The experience well thats another story...I  don't think I stopped singing the entire show(s)

Had a single ticket that I ended up selling for one of the days they filmed  :banghead:  Oh well similiar set list (trying to rationalize).

Rattle and Hum DVD NEEDS to be remastered.

An Cat Dubh and Electric co just absolutely ROCK on this DVD......GEMS.....I love when during An Cat Bono throws water at the edge

Far and away my favorite band as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
