PDA/Telcanto/Squeezebox

Anyone using a PDA with telcanto installed for their Squeezebox, I’m looking at a Dell X50v/X51v (never owned a PDA before)
and was wondering if someone has any info on this combo, problems or wireless setup.

I did see this combo during RMAF at mgalusha (Mike’s) house, it belonged to Wayne (Bolder Cable), but George (zybar) didn’t what to share

Well, Pete I do have that combo and it works just great. I never used a PDA before, but I find myself using more and more of the features of it.

No problems with my wireless hook-up, either here or at Mike's

Anytime you are down in this area, you are welcome to stop by and play with it.

The Nokia 770 also looks like it would be a good match with TelCanto

I did enjoy the PDA quite a bit. It is a much better interface and I am used to working with such a device.

I have been waiting to see if the price would come down on the Dell or another option would be available. Chances are that I will do something this holiday season (especially if I see a good deal).

I'm going to pickup another SB2, how will Telcanto work with two SB2.

After having Wayne's modded SB2 in my hometheater, I need one more.

..with an hP4700 pda and two SlimServers serving five SBs throughout the house. I can't say enough good things about TelCanto. The only problem I have had with this combination is that occassionally TelCanto refuses to connect with a server. Rebooting the PDA fixes this.
