DSOTM SACD. . . I'm PISSED!

Apparenty, some people are having problems with their new DSOTM SACD cracking. . .and I am one of them! The area around the spindle hole developed a crack. A large, and deep crack!

I would get it replaced at Best Buy, but apparently they are selling the ones with the tendency to crack.

Fuck!

Apparently, the one with the label on the left cracks, while the other doesn't
Anyone else have these problems?

Real drag! I am a Floyd fan also and I wonder if they are well aware of the problem.If so they should pull all of them from the market to fix!

How much do these disc go for? I am not a SSACD fan yet,but it would really T me off also.

Just checked mine, three cracks around the hole. Not long enough to intrude into the data area, but damn annoying just the same.

Don't know which label it had on the outside, but it did come from Best Buy.

Well, everyone check your SACD. . . if it's cracked, let's bitch like we've never bitched before. . . this is my first SACD, and if I don't get a replacement, it might be my last. . ..at least until I buy another one. ..

I got mine at Tower Records and it came in a standard CD jewel case. It was only $14.99 and hasn't had any problems yet...

I got mine at Best Buy (on the first day or release), have played many times (removed from jewel case many times). I have no cracks (yet).

Got mine from BB and I have no cracks... that being said it has been only taken out of its jewel case once as I have a 5 disk changer and it has a near permenant spot in there.

Hey I was wondering if anyone here had done the DSOTM/The Wizard of Oz thing? How was it and when do you start the music?

Regarding when to start the DSOTHM with the Wizard of OZ:

I believe when I did this in college (some years ago), we started it when the MGM lion roars.... that is if the Wizard of Oz was a MGM film. Although I think we did it with The Wall and Alice in Wonderland. However, I think in the right state of mind it would work well with any movie!
