Well I thought I had the problem solved but was somewhat premature in my declaration. I am using my digital for DTS audio discs and I have been listening to alot of my redbook cd's through the digital as well. I was able to get rid of the popping by decoding to Digital DTS through the JVC. However, when I go back to redbook and Digital Auto through the JVC I still get the popping right before a track begins and subsequently throughout the entire disc before each track.
The degree of popping varies sometimes much louder than others. I am somewhat worried about my tweeters and how it might affect them. I can't figure this out whether this is the Toshiba or the JVC. Settings??? I might just disconnect it all and throw it out into the snow!!!!
