What is the best way to run rca cables 6 to 8 feet without losing much quality?  Do I need the lowest DCR I can find to do this?

Same question for speaker cables that would need to run about 15 to 18 feet each.

Thanks

Can you run balanced interconnects instead?  I have 16 foot speaker cables and have experienced no problems.  What's DCR?

Mike.
I don't think you have much to worry about with the length that your are running. I run 25ft and have not noticed a any problems.

Me neither. My ICs are over 20'. Just make sure you keep the ic's away from any power cords or outlets.
