I am looking for a HT pre-processor for use in my 4.2 audio rig. I am interested in the ambience-recovery improvements to two-channel provided by ProLogic II/IIx or Logic7 decoding and other audio-optimized modes. I'd like a unit that provides digital (TosLink/Coax) outputs for each speaker pair rather than analog outputs, since I use active crossovers throughout. However, I doubt that such a unit exists.
What unit would you recommend for an audio-only application?
