I interest to know how the SL CD stact up against those Vinyl playback.

Turntable is a Teres 255, and you are right on the arm and it was a Benz Ruby 2 cartridge I think.

Without A/B'ing in the same system it is very difficult to make comparisons.  I will say that the SL CDP was very smooth.  It is a very nice unit.  One thing I did not like about it was all the controls were on the remote IIRC.  So if you misplace the remote, you are SOL until you find it.  Many might like the sleek look this presents though.
