FR125S vs. WR125S in Exodus Kits

Is there any advantage to using the FR125S instead of the WR125 in the Kit 2641? I'm about to start buying components to outfit my 2641's and want the best. The extra $40.00 is worth it if it sounds any better.

Quite simply put: No.

The extended range capability that the FR model provides is useless because it is not used in that speaker kit since all of the higher frequencies are crossed over to the Usher tweeter.  Save that money and buy a few new CD's to play on your new speakers. :)

Kyle is right... the advantage of the FR is that it has more extended frequency response in the top octave.   Besides that, they are almost identical drivers.    In fact.... I shot the crossover design with the WR so it's possible that the FR would be worse than the WR within the context of our speaker designs.

Great, thanks for the clarification. I just ordered my WR125's and Ushers per your suggestions. I can't wait to finally get on this bandwagon :-)
