Anyone have any experience with this:

Until I found this, I thought Roku was the only one who had this kind of product...

phil,

Check this out.

Click on Raidiator 2 icon and you can see it supports SB2 without your computer having to be on.

That's pretty cool, although I leave my computer on all the time anyways, and I just bought a 400GB OWC hardrive for my Mac.  I'm also hoping Slim Devices comes out with something that can serve photos to the TV, because they seem to really get the whole user-interface thing...

Interesting... I hadn't see that one before.  Good find, Phil!

They list support for "Ogg", but don't specify which codecs.  I wonder if they support both Vorbis and FLAC.

I'd like to see explicit support for Mac OS and Linux, but they may work anyway.  The device does cover a lot of ground for $300, however.

Actually, the option I'm looking forward to is a rev'ed verion of the Mac Mini that supports the new FrontRow software and remote control introduced this past Wednesday with the new iMac.  A digital coax output would be a nice addition too, but audio out over USB is probably a better approach anyway.
