Is it recommended to use Black Hole 5 material in sub enclosures?

Highly recommended. You might also consider our new No Rez damping pad.

Is there a recommended % of the interior cabinets walls that should be covered?

70 to 80% coverage works fine, but for subs I often cover as much as I can since subs tend to hit the enclosures pretty hard.
