I was just curious to hear how RMAF went, specifically how did the Off-Ramp with I2S (and the P-3A DAC) sound? Were people blown away?

Blown away?  NO.

Was it a very good sounding room?  YES.

The music was very clean, detailed, and enjoyable.  Very natural sounding with no hint of digital glare or grit.

Cymbals were some of the best I have heard.

I think I am safe in saying that Steve's front end would compete or smoke many much more expensive digital setups.

George,

How does it compared to your modded sb2 digital out setup ?   Thanks.

I have no idea since I have never heard them in the same system.

Sorry.
