Cornet2 cap break-in

I installed Sonicaps to c208 and c200 positions and it's taken nearly 20 hours to finally start getting them broken in. Would using the Fry Kleaner speed this up by much? Anyway, that beautiful sound is starting to come back. Man, those Sonicaps sound bad at first.

Some caps can be really harsh right off the bat.  I still find that totally amazing.  Yes, the FryKleaner will do the job in less time.  And you can walk away without having to listen to it.  I usually do 12 to 18 hours on a machine (not Bugle) before I ship it.  Huge change.

By far the most obvious example of break-in I have ever heard was when I first plugged in my Cornet2 and started listening right away.  I built it with the default caps and some orange drops that I had around, and I remember the sound surprising me at first but settling down and becoming much more refined within just a couple hours - it was very obvious.  Later I upgraded the coupling caps to Jupiters and if there was any break-in period it was subtle and much longer - maybe 50 hours?   It makes me wonder if I on first start-up I was hearing the electrolytics break-in instead of the other caps...

It's not just the caps.  Tubes and resistors and everything else too.  Scary, but I think even the connectors need it.  Or perhaps I am just imagining things.
