Tips on using iPod and iTunes, anyone?
« on: 4 Oct 2005, 05:12 am »
I've jut got myself a 20GB iPod and love it.  Although I began to rip CDs to Apple Lossless files and let iTunes update iPod whenever I hook it up to the PC, I wonder what else I can do to get the most of such a neat piece of hardware.

Thanks in advance.

Try this: www.ipodlounge.com

Generally, a good trick is also to have iTunes automatically translate/transcode Lossless-> AAC when copying to iPod. Not sure about the settings now but you should be able to check this pretty easily.

I use mine with a Mac but no sense in being a purist here.....

Thanks Ferdi for the link.  This is the 2nd day with the iPod and I find it very cute, high quality and enjoyable.  It's fun and productive to play with iTunes and rip/convert CD/WAV files to Apple Lossless music files in an organized way.  And coupled with the Sonic Impact iFusion it sounds good, too.
