Fellow Jammers: AU24 or Cardas Golden Cross Ref cables?

Anyone in N. Texas has either the Audience AU24 or Cardas Golden Cross Reference speaker cables? If so, I would like to borrow them for comparison. I'm in the process of acquiring some Reality Cables from Gregg, and will be using them with my Merlin VSM-MX speakers (see my below for my system).

The designer of Merlin highly recommends the AU24 and the Cardas GCR. I would appreciate any help, and if helpful, am willing to put down some deposit.

don't know if this helps but audio concepts has:
Cardas Golden Hexlink 5 speaker cable, 8'pr biwire w/ spades consignment $1250(new) $625(asking)
