Looking for 5.1 Speaker Package in the $1000 Range

I've decided to put together a second home theatre. For a receiver I'm going with Panasonic XR70. I'm looking to spend about $1000 for a 5.1 speaker package. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Buy the panny xr55 instead of the xr70 and save yourself $100.

Three pairs and you're there for speaks.

Add a sub and you're there for a bit under a grand. Might even be able to find someone to take one of the spare speakers off your hands as somebody else must need a single speaker for a center channel.

Or you could just keep the extra as a spare in case something happened to one of them.
