I am looking for a nice, small in stature, all in one box solution for a bedroom system.  I currently have a Sony AVD70ES but I do not require a 5 disc changer, nor want one, and want to try a different manufacturer this time.

The receiver/dvd player will be paired with some fairly easy to drive Rocket ELT/PSB speakers.

The Yamaha DVR S150 looks promising, anybody have thoughts about it or other alternatives?  Thanks in advance for your time.

Oh yeah, budget up to $500.

Here is a link to refurbished NAD products.  L53 comes in under your budget and L70 is a little more.  I haven't heard them but NAD usually has good product in their price category and the reviews are good.
