Innersound / Hurricane Katrina Relief Auction

Innersound is auctioning off two pairs of Isis Mk3.5 speakers and two
iPre Preamps. All of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red
Cross to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina . Please be generous as you participate.

This is not the most important thing, but why is the one pair listed as a Dutch auction? Did I misunderstand something?

Suits - I really don't know. I'm just posting the info for a good cause. I'd suggest you call Wes's number listed in the first post. I'll see him tomorrow and ask, and will post his explanation to the best of my understanding. I'm not sure I understand what the heck a 'Dutch Auction" is.

EDIT - Click on the URL in the first post. Click on the auction you're interested in. On the Audiogon page with the auction, you will see 'Dutch Auction" in blue. Clicking on the blue words wil give you a full explanation.
