The only person that ever had a problem was "Nature Boy" on Audio Circle. He wanted to be able to turn off his tube preamp and leave on his solid state amp so he would not burn up his tubes. That would cause a hum with any non shielded cable. If you were to leave on the preamp and the amp or turn off the amp and preamp there would be no hum. I hope that you would take advantage of my 20 day money back guarantee and listen to the cables for yourself to see how they perform in your system.
George....Come'on get out that SLM...and check it out. I used "Gold to Me'....Ben Harper.Chris[/list:u]
I wonder if the question shouldn't be, why do the other cables reduce the volume by 2 to 4 DB? It is easier to believe that ICs and speaker cable might reduce the volume of a system than increase it.Also, was this an actual measured difference, or just a perceived one?
Geoge,I'm eagerly awaiting your thoughts on this speaker cable as I'm looking at Gregg's cable, or the new RSA Poiema!!! or the TG Audio speaker cables.Your comments will help. Thanks,Bill
