Well my first digital receiver is on its way, should be here the 25th(THUR). I'm thinking of trying this as a replacement for my Denon 3802. If  it does'nt pan out there I'm starting a new smaller theater anyways. I  was going to buy seperates but decided to try this first. I really hope this works out more money for speakers then.

It is actually a very good receiver.  The detail and stereo separation are some great strengths that it has.

I've had mine for approximately 2 weeks - the burn-in process is on-going.

I guess one thing I should point out, I would never pair this receiver with brighter speakers such as klipsch.  Heck, even with my Infinity speakers, I have to set the treble to -4 to make the sound a bit more neutral.  The bass and mid-range response from this receiver is quite good, too.  FM reception has been quite good - even with the cheesey 3 ft section of 22 gauge antenna wire.

Enjoy!

Well I got it and love it so far with just a minor hookup for stereo. I'm leaving for vacation so no time to play.

I've heard this receiver can actually power 4 ohm speakers pretty well.  Is that true?  I read somewhere that it can power 153watts at 4 ohms to all channels?  Can that be possible.  Would I really be able to power a magnepan home theater with this thing?  Thanks.

i just ordered this receiver from amazon, although i haven't decided on the speakers yet, it will be for a 15x10x10" room.  speaker budget is around ~$500

any suggestion?
