There was a post here recently about some new caps (I think they were caps) going for $15 each that are of new design and vastly superior to the 'lytics and other commonly-used caps in components.  I cannot find that post now; can anyone point me to it or tell me what the new type of cap is?

Now that I think about it, there was some mention of soft-recovery diodes and this technology was supposed to be superior to those as well...
