Web sites / theories on speaker or system setup...

Does anyone know of any good sites on speaker/system setup or ideas, theory on positioning? I always refer to
www.cardas.com
(insights) and remember both Revel and Audio Physic as having there own pages/ideas on this stuff. Obviously no one rule fits all but I find it to be a good place to begin when setting up a room or system.

Here's a long one about surround sound, for both movies and music.

You might find the Russ Andrews (UK) pamphlets interesting. "Shake, Rattle" has something about speaker placement that disagreees completely with Cardas.

The Audio Physic method is on the Immedia site-

Stumbled on this
http://www.kbacoustics.com/visualears/index.html
Visual ears is a computer program for speaker/listening spot placement.
You can download a demo program where you can move speakers around and check for the effect on standing waves, etc. Wasn't really sure what I was doing, so I can't say how helpful this might be.

There are computer programs that can be used for room interface issues.
The best thing I have found is to experiment. It's always fun and challanging.
