Newest Matrix Reloaded trailer...

...will be playing this weekend with Anger Management. Just got back from a private screening of Anger Management. It's pretty good. Classic Sandler. And the Reloaded trailer is worth the price of admission itself.

If that trailer doesn't get the opening weekend numbers (for Reloaded, not Anger Management) past Spider-Man's, I don't know what will.

I thought the Superbowl trailer was awesome. But it's got nothing on this new one...

Just downloaded this trailer today from a link my friend sent me. At 99 megs for the ultra hi res version it's a big download but the quality is great if you have a fast enough connection. Man this movie is going to rock, the effects are mind blowing and that car chase looks to be pretty intense. Can't wait until May 15th.

Keanu is about the worst suck ass "actor" I've ever seen, and I religiously avoid his nausea inducing work. A flick has to be pretty damned interesting or his role must be very small for me to chance a look (eg, his laughable and variable British accent in Dracula was bad, but he wan't a very big part. Likewise, he stunk in Much Ado About Nothing, but his screen time was limited enough to save the film).

No one I know has the Matrix, although most have seen it. My brother keeps saying he's going to get it (saw in theater & liked it) but never does. If I can nudge him to get it I'll check it out. Most folks I know have liked it.

I'll agree that Keanu can be pretty laughable at times, and even in this movie he has his moments if you know what I mean. Regardless, the rest of the movie more than makes up for it. Hopefully you can see it soon.

To me, the Matrix was and probably still is THE movie for 5.1 HT and turning people on to it. Almost like the killer app for HT. I was SO blown away when I saw it for the first time I watched it three nights in a row. I'm sure part of it was this was the first movie to really give my HT a workout and use the surrounds and sub. It's still the first disc I reach for for demo purposes. I view it as a landmark movie that at the time was streching everything from cinematography to the look/feel (although maybe borrowed some from Dark City) and the story that it's a classic. I mean, hell, even ESPN and the NFL have used some of the same technology for filming!

Yes Rob B you have to see this one even if you skip the scenes with KR. This one is a test of green reproduction as the whole film has a green cast. The machine guns in the lobby scene may be the most intense audio/video scene ever?
