Anyone heard de Vore Gibbon Super 8 Speakers?

I am looking to upgrade my speakers. Several people at HES thought these were great and just within my budget.
I'd love to hear from anyone who knows them.

IIRC, Gordy has these.  I have heard good press about them but never heard them myself.

I heard the Gibbon 8's and thought the top-end was too bright.  They were driven by a Sim Audio Inregrated.  The following store is a NYC dealer.
