I still have fond memories of the Silverline Sonatina II speaker that I got to audition in my home a couple of years back. That speaker used a 2" LPG soft dome midrange and a 1" LPG textile dome tweeter.
These drivers and this speaker just sounded "right" to me. They threw a perfect balance of detail and smoothness. The mid was forward but smooth and made it sound like singers were standing right in front of me. Best sound I ever heard in my home.
I don't know if it is due to the drivers, crossover or what, but they were also very easy to drive with a higher sensitivity than normal.
I beleive LPG drivers are made in Germany. I have never seen or heard about them being used in any other speaker brand which I find kind of odd.
