New Exodus Terminal Cup

Need a high quality terminal cup?   None on the market?   There is now.

For those who like the hole saw and easy speaker post installation there is now a real QUALITY part available.   We take the Exodus EX-BPSP binding post and install it in a 3" standard terminal cup.   You get the ease of install of a terminal cup, a high quality post and the installation is virtually flush with the rear of the enclosure.

Easy install from the rear with a couple simple set-screws.

Give me a call for OEM pricing.   Retail will be right around $12 per cup.

What a great Idea to put your new connectors into a termianl cup.
That makes for a great quality set of termainls that look a lot nicer than plan posts.

Great idea Kevin

That veneer is gorgous.    I'm going to be slugging away with the contact cement tomorrow.    I have some old cherry that I've had since 2001 that is going to get used.   I'll probably tung oil them.

Kevin,

Cool!  I got the KIT41's and the sample posts that you sent me last week.  So the posts should be able to be used without the black spacers then?  My cabinets won't have the binding posts on 3/4" centers so if I can use them without the spacer that'll work great for me.  I may be ordering several of these posts from you real soon (maybe some cups too!).

Brian,

Great...    No problem using them without the spacers.   There is a small insert with a tooth on it that you just pull out.    The small tooth allows you to set the orientation of the post in the black plastic spacer.   You then just use the round washers and the nut to secure them in place.

The cup makes installation even easier because you can mount the post to the cup and terminate the wire from outside the cabinet with minimal hassles of trying to reach through a front speaker hole cut-out.

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

Kevin,

Yeah, I took one apart and noticed that insert came out.  I wasn't sure if it would create a leakage problem but didn't figure it would.  These towers are going to have dual 10's in a sealed enclosure so I don't want any issues.  I imagine the washer on the inside will help that quite a bit.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean about the cup.  Same concept as any other except you don't have to worry about quick disconnects or soldering.  Just tighten the set screw.

I'll probably call you in the next week or so to place an order.

Brian.
When I did mine, I used hot glue around the inside base of the terminal for that reason as well.
But I like to be better off safe anyway.

Great Idea for those termainls in them cups
