Midrange enclosure help
« on: 7 Jul 2005, 03:57 am »
I've been thinking about how to build an enclosure for a 4" driver that will cover from 300 Hz to 1250 Hz with steep, 48 db/octave cutoffs on either side.
The driver is the Eton 4-300/25 Hex
Vas 4.81 Liters
fs 61 Hz
Qts .32

What should I be thinking about to get the best possible sound quality in the narrow range that the driver will be covering? A low Qtc? How low, and what kind of problems are there with going too low or too high?

Thank you.
