Took the plunge and bought the Panasonic xr 70 and ordered 5 Omega TS 3's in maple from Louis. Skylan stands of course for all.
After listening to the Omega/Marathons received from Nathan
with the Sharp $89 wonder receiver, the panny/omega setup should prove to be a fairly decent and cheap system.
I was not looking for lucas thx playback levels, just good sound and waf.
Thanks to all who post with feedback on their various systems.
