Can room correction deal with 20 dB peaks? (I assume you mean above some "middle level".)
The TACT actually determines a complex filter that will create the desired frequency response from input. The DEQX has seven parametric equalizers. From a technical standpoint, the TACT is better and will likely take less time to get right. However, the TACT only provides room correction and not speaker correction, whereas the DEQX has both.20 dB over some base level?
