Jesse Cook's "free fall"
« on: 13 Jun 2005, 01:07 am »
All,

I just picked up my first Jesse Cook cd titled "free fall," which is playing now as I write this and I am very impressed!   :D   The music is a rumba flemenco, which incorporates Brazilian, Arabic, and Latin-Jazz beats into traditional flamenco.

This cd very lively and fun to listen to...and well-recorded!

Anyone own it?  How about his other CDs?

Thanks,

PeteG

I don’t have “Free Fall” but think his music is great. “Gravity” & “Vertigo”
are both awesome CDs, “Vertigo” is my fav, has a nice song w/Holly Cole
on it.

Agree with PeteG, both 'Gravity' and 'Vertigo' are amazing.

I liked the european world beat sound for a while because it reminded me of the time I lived in Greece, but I couldn't hang with it after a few months.  I only have Gravity.

I was in a unique/ecclectic music store the other day and they were playing Jesse Cook.  I asked what it was, and wanted to buy it, but they were sold out.

I ordered Tempest and Free Fall from Amazon.  Should be here next week.
