Which speaker?

Primarily, I am looking for dyanamics and speed. Iwould also like the best high frequency extension possible. Bass extension is not a concern as I will be using a sub. My amp is a 300B SET (about 10WPC).

Regarding dynamics:

IMO the FE127E "3 Series" beat the TS1 or TS2 (now called Grande 8 & 6) and integrate better with a sub. But the driver is less efficient. You'd have to decide if roughly 102 dB max is enough.

From all the buzz, the new hemp drivers should beat any of the above in terms of dynamics and efficiency.

What 300B amp are you using and what preamp?

the 300b is a home brew. I am changing the front end of the amp from cascaded 6sn7 tubes to a transformer coupled op amp. This is what boosts the power up to the 10W area. Volume control is on the amp so no line pre amp.
