Cornet 2 Grounding question
«

Hello-
I'm in the final stages of construction on my Cornet 2. I have a question- Do the phono inputs connect to ground anywhere? I see they lead to a point just under the "mono" switch.
Thanks,
Dan

The returns are indeed connected to ground at a point between the input tubes. The jacks share this common ground in the layout. You can either use the stock connectors or wire to panel mount insulated jacks using the same three holes on the circuit board.

No, it wouldn't be OK and just opposite - rather wrong decision IMHO. The only connection of the electronics (PCB) to the chassis in that case would be the Ground post connection, which would suffer from common impedance.
