Hi Everyone,
My name is James Spectrum. I’m an artist–producer and one of the two captains of the music group Pepe Deluxé. I have a healthy appetite for unusual things (to put it mildly), and among many pursuits, I enjoy modding and building studio gear. Nothing super high-end or exotic — mostly devices I’ve fallen in love with over the last 30 years.

The reason I’m posting here is that I’m looking for the Douk Audio 24-tube headphone preamp that was mentioned by Archguy in the “My newest super-cheap Chinese tube amp” thread. Yes, I’m fully aware the design is pretty damn stupid (but fun!), and yes, I’m interested in it specifically for an art & sound project.
If anyone here happens to own one of these and might consider selling it — for a reasonable price — I’d be very interested.
I also can’t message Archguy directly yet, as I need three posts first, so if anyone who knows him happens to see this, I’d appreciate it if you could point him to this thread. The Douk preamp looks like this:
