I have the RM30s and  I have replaced the ribbons onmy tweeters numerous times. I am pretty good at it but I still haven't gotten perfect alignment of the ribbon. Last time I got a 1/2 doze replacement ribbons and it is pretty good but still Iam concerned - Parts Express has what I beleive is the same thing: https://www.parts-express.com/Aurum-Cantus-G2Si-Ribbon-Tweeter-276-400? at a pretty good price.

Has anybody simply replaced their tweeters?

Yes, I have replaced the entire tweeter with those part express and and yes they sounded and measured well. I too have found it challenging to get the ribbons exactly centered. However, my experience is if they are slightly off center (as long as they don't touch sides) that they measure same as centered using Room EQ Wizard (REW).
