Just curious, has anyone ever tried to plug the ports and add polyfill to these before to make these sealed?

Why not just ask Danny why they weren’t and what would happen if they were to be? It seems HIGHLY probable he’ll just tell you. 🤔😇😅

I'd be stunned it plugging the ports didn't mess up the frequency response.  Danny isn't some amateur crossover designer.   I've spent many hours with him tuning up speakers to get them exactly as he wants them.   Add his ear to his experience, and if there is a better designer on the planet, there aren't 3 of them.

In this case, it will just change the response below 70Hz or so. It will reduce output down low.
