I have a pair of super tower ads that belonged to my father. I don’t know a whole lot about them, but do remember building them as a kit when I was younger. I also know that some of the drivers were replaced when vmps was still in business (due to surrounds rotting), and still have the original drivers.
Is there any more info to be had on these speakers? Typical mods done on them? I think the controls on the front were bypassed, and the top set of binding posts were disconnected maybe (I’m assuming originally for bi-wiring/amping). Also curious about resale market/valuation!
