is that solid wood or veneer?  (looks like maybe the baffle is solid, and the sides veneered??)  what kind of wood is it, thanks.

Solid wood baffle with veneer sides and back. These are done in natural Walnut.

Darren, awesome work buddy!!!   I think its only a matter of time until you get REAL busy :D   Eventually people will start realizing that there is no finer speaker cabinet maker than yourself (only other of comparison is Dave Ellis himself, but he has a very long wait).  The WAF factor is very high this way, so you get your cake and eat it too.  I still can't get over the job you did on my 1801s.   They look like a million bucks!

Wow! those are the best looking speaks I have seen in a looong time. Really impressive.
