B60R again. : )

Déjà vu?...sort of..but actually 3rd time around having sold the previous one (2nd one) just over a year ago that was for a project that never came to fruition..

This one is almost mint, not bad for a 24 year old bad boy and powers the Dali Oberon On Wall just fine.

Second time around, sold off my 1st B60R almost 10 years ago after I got my BHA1 and couldn't resist this one when it came up and just received it today.
Same as my 1st but a year younger, 2002, so also with the updated output components. Planning on splitting its duties between headphone use and powering some surrounds, making my life better. : )

Hi Rob!

Nice photos!! What model are the AKGs on the top? K812? What about the Sennheiser headphone amp on the bottom?

Cheers - Antun

They're the closed back version, the K872, picked them up during Covid, they are very good IMHO and quite detailed but I don't use them as often and better suited with the BHA1 which is set up in another room....the Sennheisr HDVD800 shown above was designed for higher impedance phones like their 300Ohm HD800/S.

Keep the B60 this time.  With pre-out/main-in and a tape loop, you can always find a use for this amp.   I like the B100 more, but only for its remote control capabilities.

I noticed the 2B-LP under the BHA1.  I've had both, but not at the same time.  Aside from the connectivity and controls on the BHA1, I actually preferred the sound of the 2B-LP for headphone use. Have you compared the two? Thoughts?

So true..the little B60 can serve many functions, always regretted selling the previous 2.
Yep..same goes for 2BLP ...was using the 2BLP to power my headphones with a .5 Pre amp prior to getting BHA1...touched on it here back in 2013.

With the BHA1 acting as the preamp for the 2BLP the 2BLP had very a similar sound and could go louder than the BHA1 and worked great with the AKG K501 and K701.
