Selling a mint-condition pair of Harbeth 30.1s in cherry wood (original price was ~$5,800 USD). I can’t find any flaws whatsoever in these speakers that I bought in May of 2024 from an estate sale in the UK. I’m the 2nd owner. These have been well cared for in a smoke-free environment.
The 30.1s are highly regarded for their spacious, musical sound. IMO all the praise people give them is justified. Here’s a typical review:
https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/harbeth-monitor-301-loudspeaker/Believe it or not, I bought these to use in a desktop/nearfield system, an application for which they were not designed. Regardless, they worked very well in my system. I used them that way for a year system. They sounded sensational powered by the bel canto 600M class D monoblocks, which I’ll also likely sell in the near future. Now it’s time these 30.1s go to someone who will enjoy their rich, well voiced sound.
FYI, I never tried to take off the grilles—it’s risky, clearly not something the manufacturer wanted users to do. The one picture of them sans grills is from the original UK listing. Whoever removed the grills on these evidently did it very carefully and did no damage to the wood surrounding the grills.
I will ship these speakers in the original Harbeth packing and boxes. My price is $2,700, which includes shipping and Paypal fees. If anyone wants to pick these up, I’ll drop the price somewhat to reflect no shipping costs to me.

NOTE: These ship in 2 boxes
If you have any questions please message me. I have strong feedback on USAM and Head-Fi. Please, no lowball offers or tire-kickers … we all know how good these speakers are.
