I bought this Asgard X a month or so ago but found that I really did not have need for it as planned. It is brand new and only turned on briefly to make sure it arrived in good shape and check out the sound.
It is a class A headphone amp, a preamp, and a DAC. The "Mesh" DAC supports what the company calls "Forkbeard", which is just a weird name for the ability to control it from a phone app.
Out of the box it sounded excellent with my Sennheiser HD800s headphones. It would make the perfect desk amp or as the control center for a really good speaker system.
It cost $624 with shipping and tax. I am asking for $495 plus shipping in CONUS. Payment by PP G&S and I will cover that cost. Shipping will be in the original packing.
