HH Scott 299C for sale

I have a few Scott tube and solid state amps and decided to sell my 299C. It has a custom walnut case ( cost me $295 but well worth it!) and was redone by NOS Valves ( one of the top 3 tube amp rebuilders in the U.S. ) using high quality components. Easy instructions - takes about 90 seconds to bias and comes with silent cooling fans and an extra set of power tubes! This model Scott 299C was rated the best tube amp under $3,000 by Rolling Stone Magazine and has a huge soundstage with the sound seemingly coming from behind the speakers and crystal clarity musical instruments and voices! Need only $1,300 plus shipping for this stunning Stereomaster component.     ……more pictures if needed.

Great transformers  :thumb:
Current tube amps dont use this big transformers.

Dr. Morbius, I thought you would own Krell gear, if you get my drift, lol.  I am sure you have gotten that before with respect to the movie Forbidden planet.  A great sci-fi movie.

you are certainly correct, this weighs around 40 lbs but the soundstage width and depth is astounding, also the clarity can only be heard to believe!

  As you can see even the volume dial has all its numbers, amazing for a 63 year old amp.

Actually my favorite movie since I first watched it…..long time ago!    The granddaddy of all great sci-fi movies, and Star Trek too!

It was my favorite sci fi movie as well and it was the impetus for Star Trek.  My favorite sci fi shows are the Expanse. The remake of Battlestar and Babylon 5.
