Hello Audio Circle,
I spent a few decades in the SF Bay Area pro audio world. Several years ago I got into the parallel world of "audiophile" which is nearly as big potential money suck. One excellent crossover point for me was meeting the late Roger Modjesky (& I gather somewhat "notorious" in the Circle) via the San Francisco Audiophile Foundation, which I joined near the end of its time as BAAS. My latest fiddle project is refurbishing an ebay-puchased Technics SL-1200Mk2. Right now I'm pondering an external power supply to cure its physical power transformer hum.
