I have the Fet Valve CFR Preamp. A buddy of mine gave me a super deal on it.

Anyway I've never tried the headphone out until this morning and I can't get any sound out of it. I've tried all of the output selections to no avail.

Any ideas?

 I know that my little integrated amp has a switch on it which turns on the headphone jack and turns off the speaker output. Maybe your preamp has likewise.

The AVA preamp has no such switch
