I thought they recovered fairly well.  It was pretty close in the end.  Seattle did hand them that 15 yard taunting penalty.  Hard not to make mistakes in the playoffs.

Go 'Hawks!

I don't see taunting as a "mistake" it was an act of foolish pride by Woolen, he should be ashamed. But my home team won and it feels good!

Sad for my Rams, but a very difficult place to play in Seattle. Both very good games today and should be a great Super Bowl 🏈

It's interesting that Mike Vrabel's record at Tennessee was 56-48, a .538 winning percentage. Granted, he did take the Titans to the playoffs with some regularity, but six years as HC there showed that there's clearly more that goes into a dynasty than just a head coach.
I wonder if ten years from now we'll be having the Brady v Belichick debate about Vrabel and Maye?
(I'm from Indy, so not exactly cheering for their success...)

It's finally here.
I'm not a fan of either team but from what I saw in the playoffs, I'm going with the Seahawks for this one.

I'm expecting a fairly boring game unless you're excited by defensive play.  23-20 Seattle with mostly field goal scoring.  Halftime something like 10-3 one way or the other.  Seattle wins but doesn't cover.  Of course I'm most assuredly wrong as I'm not wealthy from all my winnings from football bets.  A great day of sports with Winter Olympics all morning and Superbowl at night, have a great day everyone.

Congratulations to the Seahawks, the Super Bowl 60 Champions !  Nice to have a home town champ. As to redemption for the '15 loss, meh, bone head coaching call. Quite the defensive battle for the most part but the fact that K9 (Kenneth Walker III) was able to provide the ground game needed was a big part of the win imo. Congrats on his MVP award, hard earned. As has been the case a good part of the season defensive scoring & take-a-ways was the deciding factor. Maybe worth noting our kicker had more points than the Pats team. Kudos to Jason Myers for his stellar performance, and Michael Dickson as well for his outstanding punting.

Will be an interesting season come fall. Will they find a suitable replacement for Kubiak ? Appears they have the room in the salary cap to re-sign numerous key players on both sides of the ball. I'd imagine there will be a fair bit of head hunting in the off-season. Given the team vibe of the current group it's possible the chance at a great follow-up season may mitigate some of the $ considerations for those approached. One can hope anyway.

Just a guess but I'd say the AFC should be looking for a continuation of New England's strength in the conference next year. Drake Maye & that team are a serious force to be dealt with. A little more time & experience and who knows how good they can be.

On to golf season ....

Yes Congrats to the Seahawks and the 12!! Great defensive game on both sides of the ball.
So another NFL season is over and pitchers and catchers will be reporting in the next few days. The fun never ends!  :thumb:
